Marvella - Opening of the First Concept Store in Asia Pacific & Website Re launches

Following by the opening of flagship store in Macau in June last year, leading French jewelry brand - Marvella’s first concept store in Asia Pacific is now opened in Hong Kong. Marvella concept store located in Hotel Sav, Hunghom, with a gross area of 35 square meters; JWCC Architecture and Marvella Group have worked closely to showcase its jewelries as artworks in museums: to engage, delight and challenge shoppers for unique shopping experiences.

The major highlight of the interior design of Marvella concept store is a series of bespoke artisan jewelries in a museum-like retail setting. By introducing the display cabinet in Doric column style seemingly carved from a block of Carrara Marble, art jewelry pieces ranging from necklaces to ear-rings are showcased in a series of half sculptural mannequins resembling that of Musee Paul Belmondo in France. The “columns” also consist of a watch and bracelet display whereby customers can directly try out the products without taking the art pieces off the display cabinet.

The contemporary design of Marvella’s jewelries inspires its display, the elements of classical architecture and Paris, the origin of the brand, reflected in the design of the display. The glass panels as a re-interpretation of the classical arches. The arch is imprinted with a pattern based on the structural geometry of Eiffel Tower using digital ceramic printing. The interior of concept store was minimally designed to allow theatrical backdrops to install flexibly and stage seasonal themes. To further bring a touch of romanticism to the overall design, a feature façade in a continuous layer of cornice moulding wraps into the interiors. This strikes an aesthetic balance between femininity and masculinity, strategically aligning with Marvella’s branding image.

Marvella’s website and mobile phone application are launched, to provide unique and special shopping experience to shoppers. Shoppers can also purchase gift vouchers at Marvella shop, to let their beloved ones choose the jewelleries they really want.
